Addo Elephant National Park
South Africa's third-largest national park and home to the Big Seven, Addo is famous for its dense elephant population as well as buffalo, lion, rhino and abundant birdlife. It's one of the country's premier wildlife destinations, just a short drive from camp.
Cheetah Breeding Farm
Located near Kirkwood, this respected conservation centre focuses on breeding and protecting cheetahs while safeguarding pure genetic lines. Guided predator tours let visitors get up close to cheetahs and other big cats, with a farm stall and coffee shop on site to round off the visit.
4x4 Trails at Darlington Dam
The remote Darlington section of Addo is centred around its namesake dam and offers rugged self-drive 4x4 routes through nama-karoo landscapes, with opportunities for game viewing and fishing along the way.
Kabouga Area
A wild, off-the-beaten-track corner of Addo known for its mountainous terrain, rock art and abundant birdlife. It's also the starting point of the famous Bedrogfontein 4x4 Trail.
